The primary purpose of the Building Inspector's Office is to ensure that all structures and buildings established and built in the County of Buckingham follow all policies, guidelines, ordinances, and statutes set by the County of Buckingham, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and any other governing body.
Notice:
As of March 1, 2024 building permits issued, which are subject to the Virginia Department of Health regulations, the permit holder shall submit the VDH completion statement to the building inspections office and shall be on file prior to scheduling the final inspection.
