In order to ensure that Buckingham County has adequate fire protection and to keep the fire hydrants in proper working order, we have scheduled our hydrant maintenance.  Fire hydrant flushing has been scheduled for May 1^st through May 12^th, excluding weekends.

During this time, you may experience some discoloration in the water.  The water will still be safe for consumption.  However, you may wish to consider taking precautions when laundering any white clothing.  We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you.
